High protection rating against moisture
For permanently wet areas and direct underwater use with submersible pumps, IP68 is the appropriate protection rating — connectors and cable feed-throughs must be designed accordingly.
Corrosion-resistant materials
Damp, sometimes aggressive environments in water and wastewater plants attack unsuitable contacts and sheathing. We select materials that withstand continuous use.
Long cable routes
Pumping stations and outdoor installations often require long, unprotected cable runs between the control cabinet and the pump. We assemble the right length without unnecessary splices or connection points.

What protection rating do cables need for underwater use?
For permanently wet areas and direct underwater use — such as with submersible pumps — is Protection rating IP68 the appropriate choice. For other areas of a pump or water treatment plant, a lower protection rating may be sufficient depending on the installation situation. We advise based on your specific installation situation on which protection rating is actually required.
How long does a custom assembly take?
You will receive technical feedback and a quote within 24 hours after your inquiry. Prototypes are typically available in 1–2 weeks available. Series production depending on scope and material availability on request — we communicate delivery dates transparently and reliably.
Which pump manufacturers does KnorrTec supply compatible cables for?
